We asked Sultan about his expectations for the Traineeship and his thoughts on the future of Web3.

What motivated you to join Thrilld Labs?

I’m excited to join Thrilld Labs because it feels like an opportunity to be part of something truly innovative. Web3 is such a rapidly changing space, and the chance to contribute to that evolution is something I’m passionate about. I love that Thrilld Labs brings people from different backgrounds together, and I really believe that diversity of thought sparks the best ideas.

I’ve always been fascinated by big concepts like space, the multiverse, and time travel—ideas that challenge the way we think about the world and our place in it. I see Web3 in a similar light, offering new ways to connect, create, and think outside the box. For me, it’s about contributing to technology that can shape the future and be part of a space where new ideas and innovations have the power to make a real impact.

What do you hope to learn through this traineeship?

I want to get better at what I’m already passionate about—web development—while learning more about Web3 and how it’s shaping the future. I’m especially eager to learn from Jesse, the CTO, and see how he tackles challenges and leads a team. I also want to experience what it’s like to work on real-world problems with a team, creating solutions that actually make an impact.

What technical or fundamental aspects do you find most intriguing about Web3 and blockchain?

What excites me most about Web3 is how it’s all about decentralization and putting control in the hands of users. Things like blockchain technology and smart contracts make it possible to have systems that don’t rely on middlemen, which feels like a huge step forward.

I also find the concept of tokenization really interesting, as it’s changing how we think about ownership and value.

How do you see Web3 evolving in the future, especially from a technology perspective?

I think Web3 will become easier for everyone to use, which will help more people get involved. Technologies like layer-2 solutions will make it faster and cheaper, and different blockchains will start working together better. I also see Web3 and crypto expanding into areas like finance, voting, and supply chains, bringing more transparency and trust to those systems.

AI might even play a role in automating some parts of Web3. Overall, I think it will keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible online, and Thrilld Labs is in a great position to lead that charge.
