Thrilld Labs Partners with Blockchain Futurist Conference Toronto

We’re thrilld to announce a community partnership with Blockchain Futurist Toronto, the longest-running Web3 event in Canada, happening this May 13.

Now in its 7th year, Blockchain Futurist Conference aims to bring together a global audience of startups, investors, devs, enterprise folk, financial institutions, researchers, academics, and others to discuss the future of Web3, Crypto, DeFi, NFTs, blockchain technology, and AI. To this end, attendees can expect:

• over 7,000 attendees, 250+ speakers, and 150+ partners from around the world;
• hands-on immersion in blockchain technologies from the get go;

One of the central highlights of the event is its focus on creating a space for real discussions – without barriers and for anyone to contribute. Indeed, as the organizers note, “we encourage participants from every industry on the planet to come explore, showcase, and physically use emerging technology onsite”. Notably, Futurist Conference events are recognized for their immersive experiences and a design intended to foster networking, deal-making, and bringing real-world Web3 to life.

What’s more, Toronto is the business capital of Canada and the birthplace of Ethereum.  In fact, on May 13, ETHToronto is also taking place. ETHToronto is going into its 4th annual edition and is a free event located at the Design Exchange. Said venue, formerly the Toronto Stock Exchange, provides a historic setting that connects the city’s financial past with its vibrant tech future.

Additionally, during that same week Canada Crypto Week is happening on May 11-17. This week-long event series hosts 30+ Web3 sub-events across Toronto and Canada. Pretty massive, indeed. These include networking events, roundtable discussions, book signings, and investor breakfasts, all aimed at positioning Canada as a leading hub for blockchain innovation. With all the events and activities happening, there's plenty to explore for both those just starting to dip their toes in and those already fully immersed in the space.
