Thrilld Labs was recently featured in You.Me.Web3 Magazine, a publication by Lab51. The magazine connects global audiences with insights into blockchain, AI, NFTs, and the Metaverse. The magazine offers an interesting platform for conversations about the future of Web3 and we thank the team for their time and work.
The piece spotlighted our mission to remove barriers in Web3 networking and business. Addressing persistent challenges like gatekeeping, bureaucracy, and inefficiencies, we shared our vision of a frictionless ecosystem where professionals can meet one another, collaborate, and build. Effectively and instantly.
“Thrilld Labs was born to eliminate the obstacles that stop people from connecting efficiently in Web3,” Alexandra Overgaag, founder of Thrilld Labs, shared. “Synergy isn’t just a lofty idea—it’s about real action that creates value across the ecosystem.”
The article also highlighted Thrilld Labs’ commitment to enabling meaningful, direct connections between devs, investors, service providers, and other Web3 stakeholders. As Alexandra put it, “Our mission with Thrilld is simple: break down access barriers and enable anyone — regardless of geography, background, or network — to connect and grow in the Web3 space.”
In addition to discussing our mission, the article shed light on some broader challenges in the space, including, of course, regulation. Alexandra, a lawyer and political scientist by education, emphasized the importance of careful policymaking. She stated:, “[...] too often, the tech itself gets targeted instead of bad actors. This lack of ‘technological neutrality’ in regulation risks stifling innovation and holding back the potential of Web3.”
The conversation also addressed something else close to our hearts, that is the importance of transparency and accountability in ensuring that Web3 achieves its promise of being a real and actual alternative to Web2. “Web3 isn’t inherently better than Web2. Without transparency, accountability, and a willingness to self-correct, we risk replicating the same power structures we claim to disrupt,” Alexandra argued.
While we ourselves acknowledge that we are still on our journey to scaling, building with good governance and integrity remains at the core of everything we do, no matter the timing. As Alexandra added:
“[...] we’re not perfectly decentralized—nor are we perfect. Period. But building with the best intentions and helping others is something we strive for every day.”
